History
Fotógrafo activo en Ecuador, en las ciudades de Guayaquil y Quito, entre 1878 y 1890. Llegó al Ecuador aproximadamente hacia 1877 con su ayudante el alemán Teodoro Biener. Instaló su taller en Quito, en la calle de La Compañía (actual García Moreno) en la casa de Doña Alegría Quijano, y también laboró en Ambato y Guayaquil. Su establecimiento se llamaba “Fotografía Norteamericana”. Más tarde se asoció con Augusto Kistenmarcher y fundó la “Botica Inglesa” ubicada en la calle Guayaquil. Falleció al naufragar el barco que le llevaba a Inglaterra en 1891. (Fuente: Susana Freire)
