Biographical history
Natural de Sevilla, aprendió el oficio de su padre, Jules Beauchy Perou, francés afincado en la ciudad, con quien trabajó desde la década de 1860. En 1880 se independiza para acabar convirtiéndose en el gran fotógrafo finisecular de la ciudad. (Fuente: Yáñez Polo,1997:170-174).
